i got asked out

.... but not by the person I hoped would ask me out.

Instead, I had to tell the person-I-hoped-would-ask-me-out that I was asked out to dinner.

That's pretty sad..

Anyway I don't think the person-who-asked-me-out will feature much in my writings. Not a close friend.. not even a friend much, mind you.

Chatted a bit on fb about work and he asked if I wanted to have lunch/dinner? It wasn't until I accepted that I realized he meant as in a date. It's tomorrow... We'll see. I'm not wasting more time thinking bout it.

No, I'm not disclosing whom I hoped would ask me out! Other than saying he's been taking more initiative in seeking out conversations w me. Every day. *grins*

Not that I have any illusions about either o us committing to any relationships, but I think he'd be an awesome "date buddy" (*a person to go on dates w, not necessary in a bf capacity).

After meandering around some topics, I extracted a promise fr the person-I-hoped-would-ask-me-out....... *drumrolls*..... to ask me out!

Haha that sounds so weird. Then again our conversations usually are.
